I love washing the dishes by hand! No-one said ever… Did you know that the dishwasher uses less water than washing by hand? And save even more energy by turning off the dry setting and let them air dry.

One of the easiest ways to save money on your electricity bills is to become a speedy chef. In these hot months no-one wants to slave over a hot stove, so instead why not use the microwave wherever possible. Microwaves use two thirds less energy than stoves. Or go one better and enjoy the beautiful evening weather while cranking up the BBQ.
